Alanis is a descendant of Zapatista rebels and Mexican folk troubadours. He has published short stories, essays, fiction, poetry and shared his activity with the exercise of teaching in universities in the country. He has also served as coordinator of cultural promotion workshops and has published over fifty articles on subjects of popular culture. For over thirty years that started in singing and is a prominent member of the nueva trova mexicana. Invite
