Yesterday, March 12, there was big party at the residence of San Salvador. Commemorating the 23 anniversary of his inauguration and was celebrated with a "calçotada" across the top. The "calçotada" is a typical food of our land (the origin is de Valls, Tarragona province). The calçot a variety of onions, specially cultivated for this purpose.
The "spring onions" are roasted directly over hot coals and accompanied with a special sauce with almonds, hazelnuts and bread (whole roasted), Tomato and roasted garlic, Nora, olive oil and salt.
